Are you planning a new outdoor space or revitalizing an old one? Are you looking for hope and inspiration? Amitola designs create vibrant, inspirational landscapes that are a joy! Could it be because "Amitola" is an ancient word for rainbow?
Are you wanting to collaborate with someone? Or looking for someone wonderfully creative? Do you need someone who is knowledgeable and who has the ability to work with builders? If so, then visit our various photo galleries of before and after pictures and see our about us page.
Based on the marvelous inspiration she derives from each client, Anaya creates earth-friendly, site plans, and gorgeous landscape designs. In large or small spaces, she combines leading-edge ecological understanding, horticultural expertise, with intuition and construction know-how. Her understanding of landscape architecture, form and structure, and human needs, are reflected in her degree of proficiency.
A visionary, Anaya helps us to open up to new ways of thinking about our outdoor spaces and our personal land.
She can help you transform your outdoor-spaces into special, joyful places of connection that are in harmony with you and your lifestyle. I love when I visit clients I've worked with in the past and they say things like:
"People tell us they walk through every day because they enjoy this space; how beautiful and peaceful it is, and how comfortable they feel here." (Design criteria: Inviting the community in and giving back; developing a sacred space. Community Design Drawings, Project Management, contractor built).
"We used to find our yard a burden and never went out in it. Now we love it. We enjoy being in it and are out there all the time." (Residential two, 2 hour Consults, owner built)
"The wife and I sit out here all the time. We just sit and look at all the beautiful plants, it's always changing, like, look right there..." he pointed to a group of plants I had designed in. They were blooming and covered in brown and yellow butterflies. Then he asked, "Where do you see something as beautiful as that?" I thought, "all over this yard... and I see it in both of you". (Residential Design Drawings, Project Assistance, onwer built)
"People stop and tell us how much they enjoy walking past our yard. We were in the finals for front yards in bloom. This is my favorite part." We walked through the hidden garden I had designed into their outdoor space. (Residential Design Drawings, Project Management, contractor built)
Comments such as these fill me with happiness because it means that my life's work, the wonders I've seen in plants and the knowledge I've gained about designing for peacefulness is being shared with others. In this way, nature and form add to harmony and pleasure in people's lives.
